Yesterday, I spent my lunch hour (or two) in heaven! I was able to hit two thrift stores and made some fabulous purchases! This is my favorite find...it was only $11.50! SWOON! This adorable chair/cradle appears to be handmade and is adorned with darling painted cherubs and kittens. I'm thinking about sanding the whole thing down (darling cherubs and all), spray-painting it with Krylon's Ballet Pink and distressing it to perfection. I think it would be a lovely piece for a baby or toddler's room. Kendall enjoyed playing with it last night, but at 4 years old, she is just a bit too big for it. :)
So, would you have bought this for $11.50? Please go check out the other goodies on Junker Newbies site here! I am always so inspired by the things other people pick up!
I finished up my makeover on last week's "Would You Buy It" and I am pleased with the results. It looks so much better than I thought it would! If not for the helpful comments last week I'm not sure I would have thought to paint it black.

How cute take the stickers off and paint it I buy every lil chair I see like that paint them up and make a lil cushion for them have them sitting all over with my dolls! Oh and I love what you did with your last wed purchase I need to get pics on line of things I have done
The cradle scares me a little. Something about those cherubs!!! But I know you will make it adorable. LOVE the project from last week!
Hi Erin,
That is a very cute chair/cradle and I think it will look wonderful with a fresh coat of paint. I probably would not have bought it, but only because I don't have any little ones around my house anymore.
I love how your sconce turned out! The black paint and the addition of the number are perfect!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting on my locker basket storage. I found that wire rack at an antique store in Liberty. I saw where you live in OP. I live in Parkville so we are practically neighbors!!

I have never seen a chair/cradle but I think it is wonderful. Oh yes Pink would be gorgeous. I think I would have bought it since I hope to have a grandgirl one day and it's perfect for dolls!
Your sconce is beautiful! It's always amazing to see what a little paint and different decorations can make in an item. I'm with Betsy, the cherubs are a little creepy, but I can't wait to see what you come up with.
LOVE the sconce! The black looks great.
