My Cutie Patootie Parents

I'm in week 9 of "Design Your Life" with Cathy Zielske at Big Picture Scrapbooking and am having so much fun! I have learned so much that will hopefully allow me to become a better scrapbooker. I can't believe there are only 3 weeks left--I am going to be so sad when class is over! This week we mainly focused on the element of "lines" and Cathy gave us a great sketch for her "Real World Color" assignment. The color scheme she gave us was light shades of green, some orange, black and white (I ended up subbing brown for the black to match my patterned paper). I used one of my favorite pictures of my parents from the late sixties...they just look so sweet together! They're just as cute together now, too. Still best friends, still in love, still writing each other little love notes. They've been great role models for me and my own marriage. They are coming to visit next week with my darling Grandma Lou--can't wait!

Stunning layout Erin and just adore the photo. I wish I had done that class, I instead opted for Libraries of Memories, thought I should try to sort out all those boxes of photographs!!

How exciting that they are coming to visit, I bet you can't wait. Have a fab day, Tara xxx
