March Magpie Sketch Challenge!

Another brilliant sketch for the Magpie Club March challenge! I used bits and bobs from some of my past Magpie kits, which eases the guilt just a bit for buying the new kits when the old ones are not used up! I really must get better about that! :) I have so much respect for Tara---she tortures herself every month by actually choosing the layout that speaks to her, rather than generating a random number and letting fate choose. So much more fun that way! And the winner gets to be a guest designer the following month on her fabulously entertaining blog.

Here's the sketch Tara's using this month:

And here's my take:

Thanks so much for looking!

Love the layout Erin, great job!! I love the colours, they go perfectly with the quilt. Love the clouds, and the scalloped borders and the crocheted heart is my all time favourite thing in the world. They came from Ireland from a little old granny, she just makes the most amazing things.

With regards to kits, I try to use all mine up, (well, as much as I can) before digging into the next one. Especially the papers, this then makes me use papers that I might not like and aren't really my style but I always surprise myself and end up liking the end results. I know what you mean about the guilt though, I should really cancel my subscriptions but I do love receiving kits!!!

Anyway Erin, thanks for playing along and Good Luck.
